The One World Radio Story

Starting back in the August of 2010 Southern Spiritual Radio would be born, its conception came from the magazine of the same name and the ethos of the station was to bring like minded people together on the air waves as well as in print.

In the weeks and months ahead the growth of SSR was quite amazing, it grew so quickly that we had to re-evaluate the concept completly, by the time the year had turned we now were looking at a totally different project.

The name really didn't do us justice anymore, we were far bigger than the name Southern Spiritual and we certainly weren't a religious station (A statement that was levied at us wrongly on many occasions)
Apart from that it became so apparent we had infected the world with our stations excitable enthusaism for broadcasting the message of One World One Voice One People, that we had no choice but to shift, see the bigger picture and adapt to serve the desire of our listeners.

Hence One World Radio Org was born. With O.W.R, we are now touching more people in many ways across the Earth and who knows in the months and years ahead, the essence of that world vision, may well one day become a reality.

Over the last few months our listener bases has grown incredibly, we have now included many musicians and authors in the ranks of presenters and now OWR Sport is also about to go live and there is still much more to come form the fastest growing and the most eclectic radio station on the net.
